You should be able to work out what a team costs before you talk to anyone. Below is the full ladder, the monthly equivalent, and how we decide which tier a piece of work needs.
| Tier | Hourly | Monthly | What you get |
|---|---|---|---|
| Junior, supervised | $10–18 | from $3,000 | Defined tickets against an existing codebase. Every PR reviewed by a senior on the same team — the supervision is the product, not a disclaimer. |
| Mid-level engineer | $25–35 | from $4,800 | Owns features end to end against a defined scope. Works in your standups and on your board. |
| Senior / tech leadMost engagements | $40–55 | from $6,400 | Architecture, code review, direct client contact, and responsibility for what ships. |
| Founder / CTO advisory | $75+ | — | Technical strategy, architecture review, technical due diligence. Sergio directly, priced by the engagement. |
Monthly figures assume 160 hours. USD. No agency markup on top — the rate is the rate.
Priced from the ladder above, so the arithmetic holds if you check it.

8 weeks
$18,800 for a senior plus a junior over two months. $28,400 with a mid-level added.
Monthly
Per developer per month. Junior $3,000 → senior $6,400, straight from the rate card.
Phase 1
Senior-weighted. Junior time is not useful on unfamiliar legacy code, so we don't bill it.
Scoped, well-understood work against a codebase with tests goes to a supervised junior, and you pay $10–18 an hour for it. Anything involving architecture, an unfamiliar legacy system, or a decision that is expensive to reverse goes to a senior.
We tell you which before the work starts, and we do not quietly move work down a tier to protect a margin. If we get the call wrong, the correction is ours to absorb.
A worked example
A React Native app with a Django backend, one senior and one mid-level, for three months:
Send us the scope. We'll tell you the tier and the number before you commit to anything.
